SMS Terms

These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by Smart Ride Central Ohio LLC (“Smart Ride,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Program description
Smart Ride uses SMS primarily to send internal transactional alerts to its owner when a customer submits an airport transportation booking request. If Smart Ride separately offers service-related texts to a customer, those messages may include booking acknowledgments, scheduling information, availability updates, or other information directly related to the requested transportation service.
Consent
The Smart Ride owner expressly opts in by providing a company-controlled mobile number and enabling SMS notifications in the company’s private notification configuration. Customers will receive SMS messages only when separately informed and authorized. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing transportation services.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on booking activity and service communications. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Smart Ride does not charge a separate fee for SMS messages.
Opt out
You may stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After submitting STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Supported carriers and delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability and policies.
Privacy and data sharing
Our collection and use of information is described in the Smart Ride Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and opt-in information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
