My name is Steve French, owner and driver of Smart Ride Central Ohio. Before starting this business, I spent nearly a decade driving professionally through Uber, Lyft, and later with Limitless Limo.
During that time, I completed more than 20,000 rides throughout Central Ohio, serving business travelers, families, seniors, wedding guests, airport passengers, college students, and visitors who simply needed a safe, comfortable, reliable ride.
Those years taught me what passengers value most: clear communication, a clean vehicle, safe driving, punctuality, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly who is picking them up.

Why I Started Smart Ride Central Ohio
After thousands of rides, I realized many passengers wanted something different from traditional rideshare. They wanted consistency. They wanted a driver they could trust. Smart Ride Central Ohio was created to offer a more personal, dependable transportation experience — where every ride is scheduled in advance, professionally handled, and personally driven by the owner.
I wanted to build a service that feels less like ordering a random ride and more like calling someone you know and trust.
